Today, I have to apprise you with heart-breaking news. The writer of highly-celebrated The Wire episodes David Mills, is no more among us. He recently passed away on the set of his highly-anticipated show ‘Treme’. The prime reason is being cited as brain aneurysm.

Well, this is really sad that David has left for heavenly abode at the time when there are just few days left in the premier of his latest show. Moreover, he was just 48 years old. As reported by the people present at the spot, while preparing for the shoot, he suddenly collapsed to the ground. He was in a state of unconsciousness when his fellow workers took him to hospital. But it was very late as his heart had stopped beating by then. Doctors concluded that he had an attack of brain aneurysm and declared him dead.

This was another moment of shock for the people who are eagerly waiting for the premier of Treme because just few weeks back, Bernard “Bunchy” Johnson, star of this drama series passed away. Now I just think that the pilot episode of Treme would be like a tribute to these great people, who worked hard to create such a legendary series.

Well, we can’t change this tragic happening but we can surely cherish the immortal work of David. To do this, we must watch The Wire online as to pay homage to them.

Along with the family and relatives of David, the network is also feeling sad over his demise. While expressing grief, people from HBO paid tribute to David and also said that David was a kind-hearted soul and he would always be in the memories of those who knew him and loved him.
